Selah is a Christian devotional app designed to enrich your daily spiritual journey. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Selah.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Selah. By using our service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use Selah.

Subscription Plans: Selah offers premium subscription plans (monthly and yearly) that provide access to exclusive content, ad-free experience, and audio devotionals.
Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the renewal.
Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle.
Failed Payments: If a payment fails, we will attempt to process it again. If payment continues to fail, your subscription may be suspended or cancelled.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to premium features until that date.
Refunds: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. If you cancel within 7 days of your initial subscription, you will receive a full refund. After this period, subscriptions are non-refundable, but you may cancel to prevent future charges.

All devotional content, design, and functionality is owned by Selah or our content partners. Scripture text is provided by the ESV API and is subject to their terms of use.

When you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain data for legal or regulatory purposes. Saved items, reading progress, and streak data will be permanently deleted.
We strive to keep Selah available 24/7, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may need to perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable notice of planned maintenance when possible.
Disclaimer: Selah is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Spiritual Guidance: Selah provides devotional content for spiritual enrichment but is not a substitute for professional counseling, medical advice, or pastoral care.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Selah and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
By You: You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us. If you have an active subscription, cancellation terms in Section 5 apply.
By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately, and we may delete your data after 30 days.
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Informal Resolution: Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
Arbitration: Any disputes not resolved informally will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules. You waive your right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email (if you have an account) or by posting a notice in the app at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Selah after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
